In collaboration with artist, fishmonger and curator Sam Curtis, Duchamp & Sons explored the practice of working with other people in participation, manipulation, negotiation, co-operation and exchange.
Curtis devised a series of workshops instigating activity and discussion around key themes and the group subsequently orchestrated their own work with other people.
Their projects included a ‘creative social gathering’ creating a collective installation with a variety of media in response to music, and a series of filmed conversations with members of the public on Brick Lane exploring the topics of self-image and perception.
