This event was on Sun 4 Jun 2017, 11.30am-6pm

Writer, filmmaker, architectural critic and Britain’s greatest living television essayist Jonathan Meades (b. 1947) is the focus of our summer Retrospective.

Confronting the two great tropes of British architecture and featuring an introduction by the film-maker, here Meades reclaims the contested slabs of Brutalism and reminds us that the vestiges of Victoriana still define our present, featuring Christopher Biggins in a star turn as Queen Victoria.
