Why are we silent about certain aspects of who we are and what can we gain, individually and collectively, by breaking that silence? Using Audre Lorde’s The Transformation of Silence into Language and Action (1977), Hoda Hashi’s workshop explores this question from the perspective of voices within her community that have traditionally been silenced.
This event is free, but spaces are limited and advance booking is required. This event will take place on Zoom; attendees will be sent a link, text and guidelines ahead of the event.
