The Whitechapel Gallery is committed to making all of our events as accessible as possible for every audience member. Please contact publicprogrammes@whitechapelgallery.org if you would like to discuss a particular request and we will gladly discuss with you the best way to accommodate it. Further information about access at the Gallery is available here.
Join this workshop with OOMK exploring all things Zine Making. Whether you are interested in design, building narratives, print-making, activism, publishing or something else entirely, this session will walk you through the process of making your own Zine and walk away with the know-how to keep creating in future.
This free event is open to young people aged 15-24. Find out more about our Youth Programme and our youth collective Duchamp & Sons here.
Please email Amelia Oakley, Curator: Youth Programmes on duchampandsons@whitechapelgallery.org if you have any questions or access requirements you would like to discuss ahead of this event.
OOMK (one of my kind) is an art publishing collective run by Sofia Niazi, Rose Nordin and Heiba Lamara. Together, they produce OOMK zine, a biannual publication focused on women, art and activism as well as various art publications prompted by collective research. Found in 2016, they also run Rabbits Road Press – a community printing press in Newham, East London.
