Teachers and creative educators are invited to join us for a viewing of our autumn season exhibitions, followed by drinks in the studio
Moving Bodies, Moving Images explores the intersection of dance, choreography and moving image in a new exhibition by international contemporary artists. Join us to get a taste of this immersive showcase of short films exploring timely topics, ranging from gender politics and desire to bodily memory, resistance, personal healing and collective identities.
Also on show is a new commission by artist Zadie Xa: House Gods, Animal Guides and Five Ways 2 Forgiveness. Xa has created an ambitious installation where sculptures, textiles and paintings act as ‘tricksters’ and ‘shapeshifters’ in and amongst a large-scale fabric structure inspired by a traditional Korean home.
Drinks, conversation and simple making activities in our lovely studio will follow the exhibition viewings.
Suitable for teachers and educators across all age groups.
