We are overjoyed to welcome a brand new Summer pop-up, from our lovely friends and neighbours, Alba Caffe.
Launching with Climpson & Sons coffees, Nemi teas, refreshing soft drinks as well as a delectable selection of homemade bakes, the warm and wonderful women-led Alba Caffe team will gradually expand the menu over the summer and introduce a Thursday evening drinks offer from 25 July 2024.

Based in Toynbee Studios, just round the corner from Whitechapel Gallery, Alba Caffe & Event Space is an oasis of tranquillity and delicious food. Established in 2023, run by by food and travel writer Phoebe Hunt, alongside Head Chef Jess Rose Young, their weekly changing menu of seasonal uses fresh, high-quality produce sourced from local and UK producers including Cacklebean Eggs from the Cotswolds, Norfolk Estate Dairy Milk and Yogurt, bread from E5 Bakehouse and vegetables from Lincolnshire based farmers, Ted’s Veg.
Everything from the sourdough focaccia to the pastry for the sausage rolls is made in house. Signature bakes include tahini blondies and doughnuts with a different filling each week!
