Richard Long at the Whitechapel Gallery
Richard Long is the Whitechapel Gallery Art Icon 2015.
Long is the second artist to receive the annual award, which honours the lifetime achievements of our leading artists. Known for his sculptures, photographs and text works documenting his journeys around the world, his critically acclaimed first major UK solo exhibition took place at the Whitechapel Gallery in 1971.
