Join us for a day of discussions inspired by Defiance: Fighting the Far Right – a new, landmark Channel 4 documentary series that examines the political and social struggles faced by Britain’s Asian community between 1976 and 1981.
Across three panels, artists, filmmakers, historians and activists consider the issues, stories and contemporary resonances of the series.
Visitors can watch all three episodes of Defiance: Fighting the Far Right for free in an exclusive screening at Whitechapel Gallery on Friday 5 April. More information here.
