Recalling the UK mural movement in the late 1960s, this seminar discusses the politics of working with communities, on the street, through the lens of artists engaged in social practice. It considers critical questions about art and public space, housing, funding and the legacy of the UK mural artists. Featuring artists Carol Kenna, Stephen Lobb, Brian Barnes, Paul Butler, Peter Dunn, Lorraine Leeson, Alan Rossiter and other special guests.
Organised by Greenwich Mural Workshop as part of the project For Walls With Tongues.
