Join us for an evening of art, music and conversation exploring artistic responses to the utopian inter-war camping and campaign group.

Dr Annebella Pollen, co-curator of the current Archive Gallery exhibition, Intellectual Barbarians: The Kindred of the Kibbo Kift, introduces the work of creative practitioners who have found inspiration in Kibbo Kift Kindred ideas and imagery, and discusses their legacy with Judge Smith, co-writer of the 1976 Kibbo Kift musical.

About Judge Smith

Judge Smith, songwriter, composer, performer and author, has been making innovative, unusual and entertaining music since the late 1960s, when he co-founded the influential band Van der Graaf Generator. For the last forty years he has also been a Trustee of the Kibbo Kift Foundation, set up by surviving Kinsmen to act as guardian of the movement’s archives and memorabilia.
