Make the most of your visit and join a Spotlight Tour of Is This Tomorrow?, led by architecture collective Afterparti.
Afterparti is a fresh-thinking, architecture-infused collective with an event-and-zine series of the same name. It believes in platforms for radical, underrepresented voices, advocating a culture of collaboration and inclusivity. Born out of the New Architecture Writers programme, the collective explores big ideas about contemporary urban space through the lenses of identity and race.
This event is included in our Thursday Lates offer: book your ticket for the event together with admission for Is This Tomorrow? and save £4.95/£1.50 concs, plus receive a free drink at the Whitechapel Refectory.
Working with the Architecture Foundation and the Royal College of Art, Afterparti have curated multiple events of debate and collaboration. The first issue of their publication follows a public debate around the theme, The Time for Failure is Now. The zine is intended as a continuation of on-stage conversations, as well as a printed platform for reflective writing and imagining.
The Afterparti collective is made up of Nile Bridgeman, Thomas Aquilina, Samson Famusan, Aoi Phillips, Tara Okeke, Shukri Sultan, Josh Fenton and Siufan Adey.
