Nunnery Gallery programmes a mixed exhibition programme to appeal to a wide audience with a particular focus on site responsive work and work that explores the history of the local area. Set in the building of a former carmelite Nunnery, the gallery is accompanied by Carmelite Café, an independent café serving Nude coffee and homemade treats.
Their 2015 programme is In Dialogue, a year-long exploration of partnerships, artistic inspirations and deeply involved relationships between the artist and the muse featuring work from Pierrick Mouton, Sarah Pucill, Claude Cahun and Mary Barnes. This year’s programme has been made possible with support from sponsors Images In Frames.
The Gallery is open six days a week (Tuesday – Sunday) from 10am – 5pm.
