Wilkinson Gallery, established in 1998, is owned and run by Amanda and Anthony Wilkinson. Following this, Wilkinson presented the first London solo exhibitions by key women artists Joan Jonas (2004), Dara Birnbaum (2009) and Laurie Simmons (2011). The gallery is also the first to work with the Estates of Jimmy De Sana (2009) and Derek Jarman (2013). Artists represented from early in their career include George Shaw, who went on to be nominated for the Turner Prize, 2011 and Sung Hwan Kim who had the first solo show in the Tanks, Tate Modern, 2012. In 2007, the gallery moved to a 560sq m space and the program has expanded to include artists working in new media (Juliette Bonneviot/Ilja Karilampi) and artists from Asia (Heman Chong/Jewyo Rhii).
