Just Imagined was made in collaboration with members of Submit to Love, a studio based at Headway East London. The suggestive potential of artist Eileen Agar‘s retrospective, Angel of Anarchy, resonated strongly with members, who related in particular to the theatrical qualities she found within marine objects.
Inspired especially by the oceanic references and ideas of fluidity in the exhibition, members worked with artist Cherelle Sappleton and filmmaker Briony Campbell, alongside dance and music facilitators at Headway, to produce a collaged response captured in our film.
