Artist and class teacher Nicola Cunningham brought her storytelling club to the Whitechapel Gallery. To an audience of invited parents, classmates and members of the public she performed a series of new works informed by Hugo Balls Cabaret Voltaire and the exhibition Mary Heilmann: Looking at Pictures.
“It’s been a great privilege to perform in the Whitechapel Gallery and be able to invite parents and staff to see children’s work as well as see members of general public joining to see this work. It’s rare to be supported in this way by a public institution.”
